The tour begins in Nashville, TN, on Friday, May 21st.  We’ll stroll through Middle Tennessee, Eastern Tennessee, and North Carolina over three days.  The best part is that we won’t touch an inch of interstate during the tour.  The adventure concludes back in Nashville on Sunday, May 23rd.  The tour is limited to 10 riders.

During this Epic Motorcycle Adventure, we’ll visit some incredible destinations.  Some are world-famous. Others, many locals don’t even know.

Day One (Friday, May 21, 2021)

Natchez Trace Parkway Photo: Jim Foreman ©2021

Friday begins on one of the most beautiful stretches of the Natchez Trace Parkway.  The road runs 440 miles from Nashville, TN, to Natchez, MS.  We’re going to run what’s arguably the most interesting part.

Cascade Hollow Distilling Co. is home to George Dickel Whisky

Tennessee is known worldwide for its BBQ and Whiskey.  We’ll visit a small local distillery, the world’s most famous distillery, and finally the producer of the “Best Tennessee Whiskey In the World.

The appreciation of our distillery visits (consuming of whiskey) will commence only after we reach the hotel and the bikes are safely put away.  (In other words, there won’t be any drinking and riding.)

Day Two (Saturday, May 22, 2021)

Cherohala Skyway

Hold on to your hats ‘cuz you’re in for a wild ride! This day is every motorcyclist’s best dream.  We’re going to hit some of the best motorcycle roads in the United States.

We’ll take backroads until we reach the magnificent Smoky Mountains and the world-class riding throughout them.

Count on the Cherohala Skyway, Tail of the Dragon, Moonshiner, and Newfound Gap Road to provide maximum thrills and excitement.  We’ll also hit some of the tributaries along the way.

You may have done ‘Tail of the Dragon,’ but you’ve never experienced a day of riding like this.

Day Three (Sunday, May 23rd)

The Lost Sea

If you think the fun is over, you’re very mistaken.  It’s an early start on another phenomenal stretch of road to visit our first attraction.

Have your sneakers ready because we’re going to the “Greatest Site Under the Smokies.” Wonder and imagine while you explore the Tuckaleechee Caverns.  It’s the highest rating cavern of the Eastern United States.

Afterward, the group heads to America’s largest underground lake.  We’ll spend time marveling at nature’s wonders and even ride a glass-bottom boat across the lake.

The backroads of Tennessee offer tremendous satisfaction.  They are nothing to slouch at.  We’ll travel through parts of the region few people ever experience.

To cap it off, We’ll even visit an abandoned high-bank racetrack.  You’ll be able to run laps while grinning from ear to ear.

You wanted an Epic Motorcycle Adventure.  You got it!

Finally, we’ll return to Nashville.

Bonus Day (Thursday, May 20, 2021)

If you get into Nashville a day early, enjoy a day of exploring, eating, and having fun with us.  We’ll visit Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage and the Belle Meade Mansion.  We’ll enjoy Tennessee BBQ at Martin’s for lunch and then dinner at Bavarian Bierhouse.

That evening we’ll let loose on Broadway.  It’s Nashville’s legendary Honky Tonk Highway.

Getting to Nashville

There are four ways to get you and a motorcycle to Nashville to begin this epic journey.

  • Ride Your Bike  Whether near or far, ride your bike to this exciting city destination.
  • Rent a Motorcycle  Eagle Rider Nashville is very close to Nashville International Airport (BNA).  Music City Indian Motorcycles has a rental fleet of bikes.  Private ‘AirBnB’ type rentals are also available from Twisted Road Nashville and Riders-Share.  Fly into Nashville, and Authentic Moto Travels will arrange to get you to your pickup location.
  • Transport Your Bike   Hire a professional transport company to bring your motorcycle to Nashville.  Authentic Moto Travels will gladly store your bike in a garage until you arrive.  After, we’ll hold it until it’s picked up.  We’ll also pick you up and drop you off at the airport.
  • Trailer Your Motorcycle(s)  This option works really well, too.  It’s also the best way to get several bikes to Nashville.  Parts of the USA are still under snow at this time of year.  Authentic Moto Travels is happy to store your trailer and vehicle in a safe location at no cost to you.
