Join this epic 10-Day motorcycle adventure tracing the steps of the world’s most famous knight-errant, Don Quixote and his squire, Sancho Panza.

In Madrid, traverse the royal city.  Along the way, discover the life of Miguel de Cervantes, author of “Don Quixote.”  The journey takes us to his birthplace in the nearby town of Alcalá de Henares.  We’ll enjoy a meal in the tavern where Cervantes wrote most of the second book.  We’ll stand at the monument to Cervantes and visit his final resting place.

On Tuesday, pick up your motorcycle from Bee Biker or Hertz Ride to continue the grand adventure.  Since we’re riding, either company will store any additional luggage at their office at no charge.

Riding Castilla-La Mancha

Molinos in CuentaOur first quest leads us to giants guarding a fortress.  Help save the maiden held captive nearby, after slaying the giants.

Visit the alleged ruins of the ‘castle’ where Don Quixote became formally knighted.

Argamasilla de Alba is our first overnight destination.   There, you can sit at the exact spot Miguel de Cervantes first put pen to paper and crafted the story of ‘Don Quixote of La Mancha’ while he was imprisoned.

Since each day is a new adventure, let your imagination run free.  Relive the many exciting moments featured throughout the story.

Towns, including El Toboso, Ruidera, and Ossa de Montiel, are noteworthy destinations during our quest.

Fun Fact: The Ruta de Don Quixote coincides with several legs of the Camino de Santiago de Compostela.
